Seven Oceans Distances upgraded with speed adjustment feature for Android handhelds

Seven Oceans Holdings, a Singapore based marine and shipping software company, with offices in India and Barcelona today announced the first upgrade to its very popular product – Seven Oceans Distances

The users now have two options beyond getting FROM PORT to TO PORT distances from the app.

• No. of days between the chosen set at a default speed of 14 Knots
• A flexibility to select speed under “ Change Speed” feature. This means that in one scenario a cruise operator can enter faster speed to check correct voyage duration, while, in the other scenario, a tow/salvage operator can enter lesser speed.

The Apple upgrade is due shortly.
